Road Town, Tortola, BVI, March 23, 2026 — The British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) wishes to inform the public that Facility Enhancement Works are currently underway at the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital.

As part of this project, contractors are actively working on sections of the hospital exterior, including areas facing the main parking lot.

Please be advised:

• Parking may be periodically restricted in and around the main parking lot.
• Certain access points may be temporarily redirected to facilitate ongoing works.
• Minor disruptions, including noise, may occur during working hours.

Members of the public are kindly asked to:

• Follow all posted signage and directions from security personnel
• Exercise caution when navigating the facility grounds
• Allow additional time when visiting the hospital

These improvements are part of BVIHSA’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the safety, resilience, and overall environment of our healthcare facilities.
