The BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) is proud to be the only healthcare provider in the Territory offering Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) services, ensuring that our most vulnerable patients – newborns requiring specialized medical care, receive the highest standard of treatment and support.
Our NICU is equipped with advanced medical technology and staffed by a dedicated team of neonatal specialists, including pediatricians, neonatal nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals who provide round-the-clock care for premature and critically ill newborns.
Our Services Include:
- Advanced Respiratory Support – Specialized care for infants with breathing difficulties, including ventilator support.
- Premature Infant Care – Monitoring and treatment tailored to the unique needs of preterm babies.
- Management of Neonatal Conditions – Treatment for infections, jaundice, low birth weight, and other complications.
