Our Employee Assistance Programme

The Human Resources Department of the BVI Health Services Authority offers an employer-sponsored employee assistance plan (EAP) to all BVIHSA staff.

This initiative is a work-based intervention programme that is designed to identify and assist employees in resolving personal problems that may be adversely affecting their performance at work. This confidential offering helps staff address problems such as marital, financial, emotional; family issues; substance or alcohol abuse.

We Recognize Our Staff Heroes

The Human Resources Department of the BVI Health Services Authority believes in employee recognition. The Department demonstrates this through its employee reward and recognition programme that periodically recognizes employees for their contributions to the success of the BVIHSA.

The HR Department organizes various reward and recognition initiatives with the belief that this programme will lead to greater employee engagement, which increases retention and helps create a more positive overall workplace.
