Dr Shernese Agard is a Barbadian born Family physician with a passion for community wellness and health policy. She completed her medical education at the University of the West Indies Cavehill Campus in 2018 earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. She also completed her Post graduate Diploma in Family medicine in 2024. She has achieved multiple certifications through continuing medical education including advanced cardiovascular life support . Research is also a passion of hers and she has participated in a research project looking at microalbinuria in select chronic illnesses as a marker of kidney integrity under her belt(2018) .She is currently pursuing a post graduate diploma in Health Policy and Health Systems with PAHO in conjunction with the University of the West Indies. Other interests include youth ministry and arts and crafts.
