Dr. Rodger Miller is a highly respected and surgeon with over 17 years of experience in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of the West Indies and completed his residency at the same institution, where he gained extensive training in wide range of cardiac, vascular and thoracic medical conditions. During his training he also completed a 2 year clinical fellowship at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Scotland, where his focus was on adult cardiovascular and thoracic surgical management, including minimal invasive approaches.
Dr. Miller is dedicated to providing patient-centered care, emphasizing the importance of clear communication and collaborative decision-making. He specializes in the management of cardiac, thoracic and vascular diseases such as cardiac Rhythm disorders requiring pacemaker or defibrillators, thoracic malignacies, thoracic and vascular trauma and also vascular access for dialysis patients.
Dr. Miller also mentors medical students. He is also actively involved in the training of cardiothoracic surgery and other surgical residents. Outside of his professional duties, Dr. Miller passionate about giving back time to the community and often volunteers with BVI cancer society.
