Dr. Rabindranath Bachan is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with over 20 years of experience in cancer care. Based in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various cancers, with particular expertise in breast and prostate cancer.

Dr. Bachan earned his medical degree from the University of the West Indies Faculty of Medical Sciences and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Howard University. He went on to complete a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Hematology and Medical Oncology and is licensed to practice in the Virgin Islands through 2026. Dr. Bachan is known for his compassionate approach to patient care and his commitment to advancing cancer prevention and treatment in the Caribbean region.
