About Dr. Omo-Igbinomwanhia

Dr. Nosa Everest Omo-Igbinomwanhia is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with more than three decades of medical practice and over 20 years in obstetrics and gynaecological practice. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Benin, Nigeria in 1994 and his specialist training as an obstetrician and gynaecologist from the University of West indies, St Augustine Campus, Trinidad & Tobago in 2009. This specialist training included an observer ship stint in advance obstetrics and gynaecology, minimally invasive gynaecological surgery in Southern Tennessee Medical Center, Tennessee, USA in 2007/2008. 

Dr. Omo-Igbinomwanhia is dedicated to providing patient-centered care, emphasizing the importance of clear communication and collaborative decision-making. He specializes in managing a wide range of obstetrics and gyanecological conditions, high risk pregnancies, infertility, some laparoscopic gynaecological procedures as well as acute conditions requiring hospitalization. 

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Omo-Igbinomwanhia is actively involved in medical research and has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications especially in infectious diseases. His research focuses on improving patient outcomes and advancing treatment protocols for sexually transmitted infectious diseases with reference to Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr. Omo-Igbinomwanhia mentored medical doctors and residents, medical students for over 10yrs on infectious diseases with WHO/PAHO, CDC and CARPHA formerly CAREC sharing his knowledge and passion for Infectious diseases. 

Outside of his professional duties, Dr.Omo-Igbinomwanhia enjoys participating in community health initiatives and health education programs. He is also involved in community sponsored events like soccer games, church education, and out of school youth mentorship programs.
