Dr. Alaire Khan- Frazer a native of Jamaica, is a graduate of the University of West Indies (UWI), Mona where she pursued undergraduate studies to complete a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery MBBS in 2005. She then completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine, with Distinction, also from UWI, Mona in 2013. She also holds certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Dr. Khan-Frazer is a Primary Care Physician who has been employed to the BVI Health Services Authority since 2013 working in the Primary Care Department. This assignment has over the years allowed her to work in all the community clinics on Tortola and the sister islands for varying time intervals. She enjoys practicing medicine in the primary health care setting, providing care and health education across the age spectrum. She has a particular interest in chronic non – communicable disease management and their impact on the general health of the territory and as such is involved in championing programs related to same.
In her spare time Dr Khan-Frazer enjoys traveling and spending time with family. She is believer grounded by her faith which impacts her daily practice
