PUBLIC NOTICE – EMS SERVICE AVAILABLE

Road Town, Tortola, BVI, September 1, 2026 – The BVIHSA wishes to advise the public that Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are now available.

As a temporary measure, the Road Town Fire Department will assist EMS with responding to emergency calls to help ensure continued emergency response coverage.

The evening and night shifts will resume operations from the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital.

Members of the public are reminded that, in the event of a medical emergency, they should call 911 for immediate assistance. Emergency response personnel will be dispatched as required.

We thank the public for its patience, understanding, and cooperation as we work to ensure the continued availability of safe, timely, and reliable emergency medical services.
