Dr. Bambury is a Consultant in the Division of Gynaecologic Oncology at the University Hospital of the West Indies and a Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of the West Indies, Mona. He completed his undergraduate medical training and residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at UWI Mona, followed by a clinical fellowship in Gynaecologic Oncology at the University of Ottawa, Canada.
With a special focus on cervical cancer prevention, management, and research, Dr. Bambury has authored multiple publications on pre-invasive disease and cervical cancer. He plays a key role in medical education as the Assistant Coordinator of the DM O&G Residency and Gynaecologic Oncology Fellowship at UWI Mona. He also serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of the Caribbean Association of Surgeons.
