Improved Service Delivery For Outpatient Specialty Clinic Patients

The British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority (BVIHSA), Outpatient Specialty Clinic aims at improving service delivery and is asking all patients for their cooperation with regards to scheduled appointments.

Patients with appointments are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled time and if unable to attend the clinic should contact the appointment clerk at least 24 hours in advance to cancel their appointments. Walk-ins are not available for specialty services at this time.

Persons should keep their appointment at all times to avoid delay in treatment and if running late should call the clinic immediately. Patients arriving half an hour past their appointment time may need to be rescheduled.

Patients are also reminded to have all needed medical investigations such as, blood tests, x-rays, CT scans, EKGs, etc completed prior to the appointment and should bring a list of the medications that they are currently taking.

The Outpatient Specialty Clinic offers the following services: Cardiology, Hematology/Oncology, Neurology, Pulmonary, Rheumatology, Anesthetic, Behavioral Health, General Medicine, Surgical, Orthopedic, Pediatric, Antenatal/Gynecology, ECG/EKG (Electrocardiogram).

To make, reschedule or cancel an appointment, patients are kindly asked to call the Outpatient Specialty Clinic at 852-7554.
