Speaking with the Chief Executive Officer Mrs. Darlene Carty Baptiste she stated, “Over the last two years the Human Resources Department was charged with developing the Authority’s staff compliment on all levels and this administrative series is part of our strategic plan towards creating a superior workforce.”
She added, “Training has been ongoing within the Authority since December 2012. It began with the Executive Team and is expanding to every member of staff both clinical and nonclinical. Our employees are mandated to complete a series of training sessions that will enhance service excellence and improved service delivery. ”
The Administrative Support Development series will offer courses such as: Developing Your Competency in the areas of, Interpersonal Skills, Communication, Organisation and Planning, Information and Documentation, Information Technology, Financial & Human Resources Administration amongst many other topics.
The facilitator is the Human Resources Manager Mrs. Deborah Leslie who has an extensive background in HR. The Administrative Support Development series will run until December 10, 2015.
