The Dental Services Unit within the British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) will resume operations today, 1st July, 2015.
Dental Services are now located in the building left to the main entrance of the new Peebles Hospital.
Speaking with the Chief Executive Officer Mrs. Darlene Carty Baptiste, she stated “New research suggests that the health of your mouth mirrors the condition of your body as a whole. For example, when your mouth is healthy, chances are your overall health is good.”
She added “With the Dental Services Unit now re-opening its doors we encourage persons to make appointments and see our dentists regularly.”
Persons are kindly asked to make an appointment by call 852-7660/7661. The Dental Services hours of operations are Mondays through Fridays from 8:30am – 4:30pm.
The BVIHSA also wishes to inform the public that within three months, the hours of operations will be extended to 6:00pm weekdays and operate on Saturdays to increase service delivery to all persons in need of dental care.
