Community Health Clinics Remind Patients To Make An Appointment

The British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) would like to remind persons in need of Community Health Services to make an appointment with the respective clinic in an effort to provide an efficient delivery of quality healthcare.

Please be advised that patients with appointments are given priority and are therefore asked to arrive half an hour before their scheduled time. Persons are encouraged to contact the clinic at least two hours prior if they are unable to keep the scheduled appointment.

The Road Town Health Centre located at Peebles Hospital also wishes to remind the general public of its extended hours from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday and on specific Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm based on demand. Persons requiring an appointment can call the Road Town Clinic at 852-7690 or 852-7681.
Persons requiring wound care or child health services which include immunizations and wellness checkups are asked to make an appointment with the Sea Cow’s Bay Clinic from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday or call 852-7760/852-6900.

The following services continue to be available at the BVIHSA Community Health Clinics: general medical care, referral services, annual medical exams, nutritional counseling, maternal and child health services, school and adolescent health services, care of the elderly, treatment of chronic non-communicable diseases, podiatry, HIV clinic, home visitation, wound care, audiology, health promotion activities and preventive health screening.

The Community Health Services offered by the British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority continues to provide excellent and quality health care throughout the Territory.'
