The British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) and HIMA HEALTH from Puerto Rico wish to remind the public that the Rheumatology Physician Specialty Clinic is scheduled for this Friday, 23rd May with Dr. Ramierz.
Rheumatology is a sub-specialty in internal medicine and pediatrics, devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases. Dr. Ramierez is Board Certified to see pediatric and geriatrics (elderly) patients.
Patients suffering from osteoporosis, gout, lupus, back pains, knee pains, arthritis, joint inflammation and tendinitis are encouraged to make an appointment to see the rheumatologist. Additionally, some conditions that affect the soft tissue as a result to sports injury can also be treated in conjunction with the Physiotherapy Unit which is also available at Peebles Hospital.
The HIMA Health Outpatient/Specialty Clinic is open every Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Peebles Hospital. Persons interested in making an appointment can contact the Outpatient/Specialty Clinic at 852-7530.
