The British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority, members of the Board of Directors and Executive team met with Premier and Minister of Health, Agriculture and Human Services, Dr. the Honourable Rufus W. Ewing and six delegates of Turks and Caicos, Monday 16th November.
The Turks and Caicos government is currently in the process of establishing a Health Authority within their Territory that would combine hospital and community health clinics.
The BVIHSA Chief Executive Officer Mrs. Darlene Carty Baptiste presented a comprehensive presentation on governance, human capital, financial and legal processes within the BVIHSA to the visiting delegates. Additionally the delegates were given a tour of the new Peebles Hospital.
