The British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority has decided to extend the Debt Relief Promotion being offered by the Financial Services Department announced yesterday to all outstanding bills not only Peebles Hospital bills.
The announcement came this morning and speaking with the Chief Executive Officer Mrs. Darlene Carty Baptiste, she stated, “We have received a lot of feedback since yesterday. Persons that have bills, who received primary health care services at the Community Health Clinics, Medical Imaging Unit, Dialysis Unit, and any other service can also benefit from this promotion. Therefore the BVIHSA is extending the offer on all services rendered, not that solely of Peebles Hospital.”
Financial Comptroller, Mrs. Angelina John added, “The promotion is to benefit everybody that use our services, irrespective of the service or the amount of the debt. We are therefore encouraging our many debtors to take advantage of this opportunity to regularize their accounts with us.”
The Debt Relief Promotion affords all patients with bills prior to 2015 the opportunity to obtain a discount of 10-45 percent off their total bill. In addition persons with bills from 2015 are encouraged to call the Collections Unit and the best possible payment options can be obtained while the Debt Relief Promotion is being offered.
Today members of the Financial Services team were on ZVCR 106.9, with Melee Magic in the morning and will be guests on ZROD 103.7 next Thursday, 24 September on the International Morning Ride Show hosted by Gadiethz.
The Debt Relief Promotion takes immediate effect and expires on 30th November 2015. Persons with outstanding bills are encouraged to call the Billing and Collections Unit at 852-7500 extension 7502/7503 or email email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
